My chihuahua goes to the bathroom and then steps in it. I drive my fiancee to work in the morning and leave her in the bathroom to do her business. I am only gone for about 45 minutes, so I thought what could be the worst thing that could happen. Well I came home and she had stepped in her poo and pee and was jumping all over my bathroom. There was poop everywhere, on my floor, toilet,walls and vanity. I couldn’t believe it she was running in it and she thought it was great. She is only 5 months old so i hope she grows out of it. Is that normal and how can I break the habit? We trained her to go on her pads which she is still learning, but she seems so excited after she just steps in it and not just once.

My husband and I recently got a long-haired Chihuahua. We really love him. He is so cute and he is such a good dog but he keeps chewing on his feet. He chews on them very hard and I don’t know if this is normal or not. Is this something that they do or is there something I can do to his paws or something I can put on his paws to stop him from doing this?

My chihuahua is almost 2 years old. He developed brown spots on his skin, but they seem to have appeared over night. He is a fawn color, but these spots are on his skin, back, and tummy. He doesn’t act like he is itching or anything. Do you think that he is ok?

I have had my 8 week old chihuahua for 3 days now and I am exhuasted due to lack of sleep. I keep her in the downstairs bathroom in a crate at nightwith a baby monitor nearby and it seems like she only sleeps for an hour or so and then is up whining until I come downstairs to calm her down once again. Any tips are appreciated to stop her whining.

Disney has revealed its new poster for the comedy “Beverly Hills Chihuahua” due out on Sept. 26, 2008. The movie stars Manolo Cardona, Jamie Lee Curtis, Andy Garcia, Placido Domingo, George Lopez, Salma Hayek, Edward James Olmos, Paul Rodriguez, Cheech Marin, Piolin, and Drew Barrymore.
In the movie, a pampered Beverly Hills Chihuahua named Chloe (voice of Drew Barrymore) finds herself accidentally lost in the mean streets of Mexico without a day spa or Rodeo Drive boutique anywhere in sight. Now alone for the first time in her spoiled life, she must rely on some unexpected new friends including a street-hardened German Shepherd named Delgado (voice of Andy Garcia) and an amorous pup named Papi (voice of George Lopez)-to lend her a paw and help her to find her inner strength on their incredible journey back home.
Garcia is playing a German shepherd who was kicked off the police force because he lost his sense of smell and has now given up on life. Hayek is Chloe’s spirit guide who helps her find her true heritage. Lopez is Papi, a macho romantic Chihuahua who will do anything for the love of Chloe.

I have a 8 month old Chihuahua, we have had her since 8 weeks. She has always been a lover until recently. She comes to my gift shop with me everyday, so she is around peoples constantly. She has just started barking at everybody that walks in the door. And one day she lets everybody pet her the next she snaps and tries to bite. She has also recently bit my husband twice and my daughter once. What can I do to stop this behavior before it gets to the point where I can’t take her to work and my daughter gets to be afraid of her? Please help!!

I will be going on a seven day vacation. I cannot take my chihuahua along. Others times she has stayed with an in-home petsitter, but she no longer does petsitting. I tried others and they were supposed to stay in my home but I found out they only came to let her out. I am thinking of putting her in a kennel for 7 days, she has never been at one, but I have no other choice. What do you think about this?
